The touring exhibition of the Max Planck Society stopping at Forum Wissen!

Dates: 23.6 – 27.8.2023
Venue: Forum Wissen, Vestibule

The exhibition is touring Germany to mark the 75th anniversary of the Max Planck Society. In Göttingen, where the Max Planck Society was founded in 1948, it can be visited from 23 June to 27 August 2023 in the Forum Wissen.
“Pioneers of Science” tells how this research changed our everyday lives and shaped the modern world – including Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, Paul Crutzen’s ozone hole research and Karl Ziegler’s patent for the production of polyethylene. Awarded between 1915 and 2022, these and other works are at the same time milestones in the development of science in the 20th and 21st centuries. Many Nobel Prize winners have taught or are teaching at the University of Göttingen. Discover pioneering topics of science at Forum Wissen.
